The Balloon Stylist School
Where confidence in balloon artistry begins
Whether you've just discovered the world of balloon artistry, or you've been self-teaching for a while and you're ready to take things further, you're in the right place!
Every course is hands-on, delivered in small groups, and covers not just the techniques but the business side too, because making beautiful things is only half the job.
NABAS Level 1 - Balloon Basics
NABAS Level 1 class has been created specifically for those with little or no experience of working with balloons. It is a full day course, covering important information about the products we use, including types of balloons, weights, gases, inflation equipment etc as well as important theory and business information.
You’ll learn a selection of designs which help you develop your confidence in the key techniques that will underpin your work going forward, and also discuss how NABAS can support you with insurance, supplier discounts, business resources and much more going forwards. We make sure that, at the end of the day, you can take photos of all your work to start your portfolio and you can take home what you’ve made.
NABAS Level 2
Our Level Two class is a natural progression from our Level One class. This is a hands-on day where you’ll work with more types of balloons, learn advanced techniques and work with framework to help you create more complex designs.
This is a full day course which costs £250 to include all materials used on the day, a colour manual for you to keep and a certificate from NABAS on successful completion of the course. There will be a maximum of 6 students on the course so you get the help and support you need, and at the end of the day you can take photos of all your work to start your portfolio and you can take home what you’ve made.
Organic Balloons & Props
In this NABAS approved course, you'll learn the organic technique that's behind some of the most beautiful balloon set ups you see today. We'll cover arches, columns and photo props, as well as branding and personalisation.
One of my favourite parts of this course is the colour work. You'll learn colour harmonies and how to create your own custom balloon colours, which is a real game changer when it comes to matching a client's brief exactly.
By the end of the day you'll have the skills and the eye to create organic designs that look considered, professional and genuinely impressive.
Everyday Corporate
Corporate work is where consistent, reliable balloon décor really earns its place and that's exactly what this course is built around.
You'll learn classic balloon décor: the kind of uniform, structured columns, arches and displays that corporate clients come back for again and again. But more than just the techniques, this course is about the systems behind the work — how to set up efficiently, work at speed, and deliver the same high standard every single time.
That repeatability is what makes corporate balloon décor such a valuable income stream. Whether it's a shop opening, a brand activation or a large-scale event, clients need to know you can deliver on time, on brief and without fuss. This course gives you the foundations to do exactly that.
By the end of the day you'll have a solid grasp of classic décor construction and the professional approach that turns a one-off job into a long-term client relationship.

Twisting for Decor
If you've never worked with modelling balloons before, this course is going to open up a whole new world for you.
Twisting is one of those skills that genuinely transforms how clients see your work. Adding twisted balloon elements to your designs like flowers, figures and sculptural details instantly increases the perceived value of what you create. Customers notice it, they love it, and they're happy to pay more for it.
We'll start from the beginning, learning how to work with modelling balloons to build a range of designs you can bring straight into your business. By the end of the day you'll have a solid introduction to twisting and the confidence to start using it in your work straight away.
One of the things I love most about twisted balloons is how versatile they are. They work beautifully as giveaways at brand activations and kids' birthday parties and a well-placed giveaway is one of the simplest, most effective ways to increase your average spend per client. It creates a moment, it delights people, and it keeps your brand in their hands long after the event is over.
